Patrick has also extensively focused on Pandemic Planning and has developed core Pandemic Methodology that is currently in use by an International consulting company and has been used on hundreds of engagements across North America.

Patrick’s  recent consulting projects in the business continuity arena span many subject areas - including Pandemic Planning and Exercises, and include a range of industries, including financial and brokerage, healthcare, and local and regional governments. He is a well-known conference/webinar speaker and has published articles and whitepapers in a variety of professional journals.

Brian Tanner is the Computer Hacking and Intellectual Property Crimes Coordinator (or“CHIP”) for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Georgia. The Southern District includes 43 counties in southeast Georgia, including the cities of Savannah, Augusta, Brunswick, Waycross, and Dublin. As the district CHIP, based in Savannah,Brian is responsible for prosecuting cases involving computer crime and violations of federal trademark and copyright law, acting as district legal counsel on computer-related legal issues, and providing training and support tothe district’s other federal prosecutors on technology matters.He graduated from Georgia Tech in 2001 and the Emory University School of Law in 2004. Following law school,he worked for the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins LLP, an international law firm,litigating cases involving copyright,trademarkand securitieslaw for clients including AOL, Careerbuilder.com and Orbitz. In 2006, he joinedthe U.S. Attorney’s Office in Savannah as an Assistant United States Attorney. He currently prosecutes a wide variety of federaloffenses in addition to computer crimes, including embezzlement,identity theft, and insurance and electionfraud.
